First of all, I would like to give a big HUG to my friend, FQ.
She surprised me with this...
Aww...FQ...I lap u.
Unfortunately, the card was signed off as SQ, kekeke. The florist who took down her orders must have heard wrongly. Nevertheless, I was extremely, pleasantly surprised and happy when my new colleague brought the basket of flowers with those pretty purple butterflies to me. I was teased by the other teachers and some of them was saying, I'm so lucky to have a friend who remembers me that way. Yes FQ, I'm so lucky and so thankful that I have a friend like you. I can't wait for us to be 'neighbours' again. I just can't wait. Just the thought of you being near me, makes me so happy! Not that we're so far apart now...but yeah, I just want you to be near me, that's all. Eeee...mcm lovestruck lovers gitu!
FQ is getting married! Soon!!! I can't wait for that to happen too! And she got her house too!!! Yay!!! I was ecstatic when she told me yesterday. I know she's gonna get something else soon too, after marriage, or rather 'someone else'. If you have your own house already, you can bet that that little bundle of joy would be around in no time....hehehe.
My new school is great! So far so good. The teachers are nice though they seemed very busy which I can understand coz I am too. Maybe we'd warm up later. 3 days of school and there were meetings galore!! Hahahah! I dun mind it really coz they're important and not just those that they hold just to 'occupy' the time, slot and for the sake of having one. They're all fruitful and relevant...and...SHORT!
Having said that, I miss my friends in my old school. I miss my work station which is tucked in a cozy corner of the staff room. I miss the kakaks who sold rice and noodle at the canteen. I miss my students...
I'm quite surprised myself that I could easily adapt to the new environment like it's nothing new. I guess I've been to so many places, worked in so many organisations that I've become immuned to any changes. I don't feel any awkwardness or uneasiness...everything seems to fall into place. Alhamdullillah...
Maybe, along the way, encounters of problems and obstacles would be inevitable. But for now, I am determined to start afresh in this new journey.
I am a happy Rat...
