Again. Hi Peeps!

Yeah, all I have time for is to upload more photos onto this blog of mine and less talk. Sometimes there'd be a gazillion things to blog about but i just couldn't find the time nor energy to do so.

Recently, your's truly had been truly sick. I was down with *gasp* gastritis and fever. Woke up in the wee hours of the morning with an incredible urge to purge the contents of my belly northwards and southwards. Yup! Not once, not twice but thrice! I was so weak to even drag myself out of the bed and into the bathroom. I had to call sick as I dun think I even have the energy to walk the distance to my kitchen.

Alhamdullillah, I'm all well now. Love to my hubby who took care of me, cooked for me, sponged me....basically pampered me. Thanks Shahira for printing the worksheets for me. Yes, Shahira, my new colleague, who kept telling me that she's so lucky to have me as her colleague. You know what Shahira, I should be saying that WE are ALL so lucky to have you as our colleague who brings sunshine to the school. I'm always at awe how a person as beautiful as you can be the kindest, generous and the most lovable at the same time. I used to hear this phrase being said "God must have taken His time when He created you...". It rings true of you Shahira. So beautiful, inside and outside. Mr Sha is so lucky to have you *wink wink*.

We went to Suntec today. I got myself a pair of shoes from the Tangs Bazaar Sale. Good quality shoes at a very affordable price. My feet is quite a fussy pair to begin with. Thing is, I can't just buy any shoes. Problem is I wanna be stylish but comfortable at the same time. And an even bigger problem is, the cost of the shoes cannot go beyond my budget. So if a pair is found and it's to my liking, I'd grab it straigth away. Ok 'nuff about the boring detail...

The drive back was much more interesting. On weekend like this, we'd usually encounter drivers who are either letting off steam after some hard days' work during the week or they are simply a bunch of frustrated people on the loose. And then we have the Mats on motorbikes (not those big ones but the cute ones - gilera??). On our way back home, we were approaching the traffic lights when we saw two motorcyclists, one riding solo and the other with his cigarrette-puffing girlfriend, seemingly chatting with each other, riding slowly in front of us, side by side without a care in the world. While this 'circus act' was being performed in front of us, I pacified my hubby who's about to burst in rage at the nonchalant attitude of these two idiots. Yes, they were plain idiots. To top it all off, they parted ways with a handshake! Yes! A handshake! IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD!!
I wonder if that is truly necessary. While riding a motorcycle?!! By then, I was the one fuming mad as we watched this supposedly act of brotherhood or whatever-hood unfold right before our eyes. Yo bro, kalau nak salam pun, tengoklah tempat. Takkan kat tengah jalan pun korang nak tunjuk korang brader kuat kan...Korang tak pikir ke keselamatan korang, keselamatan budak perempuan tu...kalau lah tersilap haribulan, tertarik tangan korang ke...tak ke nahas jadinya...

Anyway, we also encountered some F1 racers wannabe along the way. One cheated his way by jumping queue when turning right to enter Tampines at the junction where the Safra Tampines is and another one just need to show off the power of his striped Honda by tailgating us all the way on the ECP because he wanted to overtake us but couldn't and ended up driving behind a cement truck instead...*chuckle*. I was tempted to wave and do a "nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh" when we passed him but reminded myself that a smile would suffice...heh heh heh....

Interesting day to an otherwise ordinary weekend. Hope to go out again tonite with the hubby if he's well. You see, he has got the sick bug from me and now I've gotta pamper him....
